NIB Projekt is an architectural studio based in Tivat, founded in 2010. We provide comprehensive architectural and design services for projects in Tivat, Kotor, throughout the Bay of Kotor, and across Montenegro.

Our design approach is rooted in a strong understanding of the local context. We create contemporary architecture that responds to Montenegro’s Mediterranenan climate, landscape, and architectural heritage, with a thoughtful use of local and natural materials.

SELECTED PROJECTS

VILLA Seljanovo

Set in the residential area of Upper Seljanovo, this family villa combines a prominent central volume with flat roof and two lower, hipped-roof wings. Fully clad in stone, its architecture reinterprets Mediterranean character through selected elements of Boka Bay tradition, enriched by broader regional influences.

VILLA Bigova

Set on the slope of Bigova Bay, the villa is conceived as two interlocking volumes: a solid terraced base extending outward toward the sea, and a two-story house above with a traditional pitched roof. Strong natural-stone side walls frame the composition, grounding the villa in the Mediterranean landscape.

HOUSE Krašići

Set on the steep terrain of Krašići and opening toward the sea, the house is organized as two compact apartments—one for family use and one for rental. Its concept follows the slope through a sequence of cascading volumes, terraces, and outdoor spaces.

CONDOS Donja Lastva

Two intimate apartment buildings accommodate 12 homes, with private gardens at ground level and gallery access above. Underground parking keeps the site largely green, while natural local stone and restrained mortar tones give the architecture a calm, contextual character.

We provide complete project documentation for a wide range of building types, including concept designs, detailed and construction projects, interior design, and landscape design. Particular attention is given to spatial functionality, quality of execution, and ensuring that each project responds to the client’s needs.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Our services include complete project management – from site analysis and land acquisition, through design development and coordination of all project participants, to construction supervision and obtaining the final usage permit.

CONSULTING

We also provide professional support and consultancy on construction legislation, planning and technical requirements, permit procedures, building legalization, and other administrative and technical matters related to design and construction.

Professionally licensed architect with a Master’s degree in Architecture and more than 14 years of experience designing residential, office, and commercial buildings across the Montenegrin, Serbian, and Swedish construction markets.

Founder

Licensed civil engineer with more than 30 years of professional experience in the construction industry. She worked for over 10 years as a construction inspector within the Ministry of Spatial Planning and local government authorities, after which she established a private practice.
Throughout her career, she has been involved in construction supervision, design, consulting, property valuation, and technical advisory services.
